INTRODUCTION

Remodeling or constructing your home can be one of the most major undertakings that you perform in a lifetime, and you will surely find many benefits in doing so.  The key to successful remodeling is to know what you want and how you can achieve it.

At Construction Precellence , we have  developed a design build system that will ensure effective and progressive planning. Close cooperation between you and our team will  help you accomplish the project of your dreams.  We start by determining the reasons and decisions that led you to embark on renovation, and then add our vast experience and know-how. The combined experience of our team of professionals covers all facets of the remodeling industry.

Discussion with a specialist about your project and an appointment is set

Note:Sometime step 1 and 2 are combined 

3. First Meeting

Consultation to discuss your needs, budget considerations, timeframe and the best way to proceed  (Invitation to sign a design remodel agreement)

4. Planification phase

5. Signing of construction contract/remodeling contract

INFORMATION DOCUMENTS

For each of the principal phases (planification and execution) you will receive a document exclusive to Construction Précellence explaining in details every steps that are underway. 

Once the work is completed you will receive what we call the “Carnet de garantie” (also exclusive to Construction Précellence) including the different warranty and details for the products and accessories of your project for future references. 

N.B.  Also included with the “Carnet de garantie” is a residential home maintenance book.  

NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS

Every remodeling projects starts with a need for change which then leads to an analysis of your requirements.  A remodeling project can be undertaken for many reasons which range from remodeling a kitchen, or a bathroom to constructing an extension to your home.  The need to change or modify your living space is usually a key component in the decision.  Once you have decided on a specific project and determined your needs, then we can start planning your project with you.  Throughout the process, we will develop the project within the limits of your budget, your needs and your requirements.

BUDGET

The budget is one of the key considerations in remodeling.  It is important to know how much you are willing to spend on the project from the outset.  We will then determine with you how much can be included in the project and the expected cost.  This entails the examination of various scenarios.

FINANCING

The professionals of the Construction Précellence team will assist you all the way in securing the financing necessary to complete your project.

We will help you to select the best financing option for your project and we will also work with you to supply your bank with the necessary documentation or information.

THE DETAILS

INITIAL VISIT

Our team efforts begin with the first on-site consultation. Our goal of this visit is to develop a partnership with you that will enable us to meet and exceed your needs and expectations. Our first consultation will involve brainstorming during which we will review all aspects of the project.  This exchange of ideas will yield a project skeleton which will be used to determine a budget for the project.  At this point, we will discuss the option of accepting our Design Build agreement to accomplish your project.   

DESIGN-BUILD PROCESS

Designing your remodeling project requires the joint effort of both yourself and your designer.  When you involve Construction Précellence as your designer, we will keep the design of your project within your budget.  In the renovation and construction industry, spending money is never difficult.  The challenge arises in getting the maximum out of your investment.  In order to accurately price a project, it is vital that all the decisions and specifications be determines.  At Construction Précellence, we will work hand in hand with you in determining specifications, drawing design options and selecting material.  Once this process is completed, we can then provide you with the exact cost of your project. 

We will sign a Design Build agreement together that encompasses all the preliminary  stages of pre-project design.  After this, we will then set up an agreement for the project execution and we will complete if needed the plans and specifications.  The cost of the first (planning) phase of your project will be taken into consideration in determining the cost of the second (execution phase).

OUR TO PLAN YOUR PROJECT

Dress a list of your needs and identify the priority.  You can make a summary verification with your city if the works your planning to do are allowed, if yes, what are the limit.  For over 50 000$ projects you may want to check with your bank. Before going with the execution of the works, make sure everything is specified
